     Marilyn C. Plummer, 85, Clappertown, rural Williamsburg passed away unexpectedly Friday morning in Carlisle.

     She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Weld) Kitchen.  On August 24, 1950 she married Richard T. Plummer Sr. in Cumberland, MD.  He passed away on January 11, 2012.

     Surviving are two sons: Richard T. Jr. (wife, Donna) of rural Williamsburg and Dale L. (wife, Letty) of St. Robert, MO; four daughters: Patti K. at home, Marilyn G. Smith (husband, Kirby) of Carlisle, Joyce L. Moyer (husband, Jess) and Jennifer L. Moffitt (fiancé, Thayne) both of Altoona; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Walls of New Oxford; and a brother, Duane Kitchen of Grand Prairie, TX.

     She was preceded in death by two brothers: Dall and William Kitchen.

     Marilyn retired as a clothing tagger from Warnaco in Duncansville.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.  Marilyn also enjoyed reading, embroidering and watching old western television programs.

     Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the funeral home, Pastor Vaughn R. Kanagy officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

    The family prefers memorial contributions be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Clappertown CMA Church, 3239 Piney Creek Rd., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
