     Annetta F. Brua, 96, a resident of Maybrook Hills, Altoona formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Monday morning at the home.

     She was born in Royer, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Ernest B. and Anna May (Gorsuch) Gorman.  On January 25, 1964 she married Charles B. Brua in Winchester, VA and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1995.

     Surviving are a daughter, Anna May Very of Williamsburg; a son, Charles R. Brua of State College; a niece Alice F. Grannas of Williamsburg; also dear friend and roommate, Doris Sutton.

     She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dorothy Dewey and Grace Himes; a brother, Ralph Gorman; and a son-in-law, Joseph J. Very.

     Annetta loved keeping a neat home and being a homemaker, she also enjoyed reading and taking care of her pets.

     A public graveside service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Annetta’s memory may be given to Mending Hearts, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
