William L. Malone

William Lee Malone, 73, rural Williamsburg, went home to be with his Lord, Monday morning, December 16, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Paul E. and Marie B. (Muskarden) Malone. On February 25, 1972 he married Sharon L. White in Williamsburg.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 47 years; three daughters: Gretchen L. (Ryan) Gunnett, Gwendolyn M. (Barry Jr.) England and Elaine M. (Doug) Shultz all of Williamsburg; 11 grandchildren: Tyler, Chandler, Paige, Rio and Talmadge Gunnett, Carly, Caitlin, Olivia and Foster England & Wade and Ridge Shultz; a great-grandson, Cash Gunnett; two sisters: Janet M. (Will) St. Jacques of Walsenburg, CO and Paula D. (Bruce) DeBolt of Port Matilda; three brothers: Edwin P. (Karen) Malone of Hollidaysburg and Jeffrey C. (Vicki) Malone of Altoona and Patrick C. Malone of Conover, NC; and a sister-in-law, Robin E. Malone of Hollidaysburg.
Bill was preceded in death by a brother, David G. Malone.
He was a 1964 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and attended the Williamsburg Alliance Church for the past 47 years. Bill retired as a machinist in 2001 from Norfolk Southern (formerly Conrail) with 30 years of service.
Bill loved spending time with his family and classic cars, especially corvettes. He also enjoyed working around his house and listening to his oldies music.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Williamsburg Alliance Church and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Friday, December 20, 2019 at the church, Pastor Paul R. Campbell officiating. Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
