William E. Clark

William Edward Clark, 82, of rural Williamsburg, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 15, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Allenport, Huntingdon County, son of the late Lewis B. and Lettie L. (Kline) Clark. On May 11, 1970 he married Charlotte M. Hostetler in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 50 years; a daughter, Brenda S. Grove (Randall) of Huntingdon; three sons: Brian E. (Colleen) Clark of Huntingdon, William B. (Ronna) Clark and Edward M. (Julie) Clark both of rural Williamsburg; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard L. Clark of Mill Creek.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Lee Roy and Lewis K. Clark.
Bill was a former member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ and a longtime, active member of the Mill Creek Lions Club.
He worked in the maintenance department at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon and also served as a foreman for Whitaker Associates, Huntingdon County. Bill retired in 1994 after 22 years of owning and operating, William E. Clark Construction Company, where he worked proudly alongside his sons.
Bill loved spending time with his family and working, especially laying block and pouring concrete. He also enjoyed hunting and woodworking.
The Clark family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care that Bill received from Conemaugh Regional Hospice.
Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm, Monday, April 19, 2021 at Fairview Church of the Brethren, rural Williamsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 1pm at the church, Brother Thomas Hanks, Pastor Eric Feather and Hospice Chaplain James Yates officiating. Private interment will follow at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
Memorial contributions in memory of Bill may be given to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 or Conemaugh Regional Hospice, 1086 Franklin St., Johnstown, PA 15905.
