Tina Marie Detwiler

Tina Marie Detwiler, 58, of rural Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 13, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Melvin Junior and Shirley Jean (Hetrick) Smith. On March 6, 1982 she married Jeffrey D. Detwiler at the Hicks United Methodist Church, Duncansville.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 39 years; two sons: Jeffrey D. Detwiler Jr. of Duncansville and Melvin J. Detwiler of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Crystal M. Detwiler (Marcus Snare) of Williamsburg; two grandchildren: Melvin J. Detwiler Jr. and Angelina Marie Detwiler; and three brothers: Terry Lee Smith and John W. Smith both of Hollidaysburg and Richard E. Smith of Williamsburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin L. and James S. Smith.
Tina was a 1981 graduate of Central High School. She was employed as a cook at Louie’s Coral Lounge, Lori’s Place and The Sizzler, all in Williamsburg.
Over the years she attended the Royer and Mines United Methodist Churches and more recently Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg. Tina loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed her pet dogs, Bandit and Sampson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a celebration of life service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
