Roger D. Blough, 65, of Philipsburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away, Friday afternoon, May 29, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center.
He was born in rural Williamsburg, son of the late Jack N. and Gertrude L. (Gorsuch) Blough.
Surviving are his companion, Beverly Cowher of Philipsburg; a sister, Linda L. Whitaker of Williamsburg; two brothers: Larry L. of Myrtle Beach, SC and Timothy W.; a brother-in-law, Kevin “Pud” Irvin both of rural Williamsburg; five nephews: Scott Whitaker, Chad Whitaker, Matt Blough, Jon Detwiler and Josh Detwiler.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Robin L. Irvin; a niece, Jennifer (Detwiler) Smith; and a brother-in-law, Ed Whitaker.
Roger was a 1973 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He retired as a machine operator in 2017 from Edgemate, Roaring Spring with over 20 years of service.
He loved his pet cat, Bugs, hunting deer and morels, gardening and making wine.
At Roger’s request there will be no public service and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
