     Rayota L. Brant, 86, Martinsburg, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2020 at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

     She was born in New Enterprise, daughter of the late Roy M. and Eva Catherine (Stonerook) Brant. 

     Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Ray Brant of Martinsburg; three granddaughters: Alicia L. Moore, Kayla M. (Justin) Fink and Brandy L. Brant all of Claysburg; five great-grandchildren: Layla, Hayden, Mason, Bailey and River; and many nieces and nephews.

     Rayota was a 1951 graduate of Replogle High School, New Enterprise and a member of Curryville Church of the Brethren.  She worked as a shoe sole assembler at Cove Shoe Factory, Martinsburg with 51 years of service.

     She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Rayota also enjoyed shopping and watching The 700 Club and In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley on Sunday mornings.

     Due to recent COVID-19 recommendations a private service and interment at Replogle Cemetery, Woodbury will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.

    Memorial contributions in memory of Rayota can be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
