     Patricia M. Landis, 87, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday evening, July 18, 2019, at UPMC Altoona.

     She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Hoelzle) Monahan.  On April 7, 1956, she married George W. Landis Jr., at St. John’s Catholic Church, Lakemont, and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2001.

     Surviving are five children: Elizabeth A. (Ken) Brenneman, Michele M. (Greg) Haney, Lucinda R. (Nate Harker) Landis, Shawn J. (Janet) Landis, and Theresa M. Landis; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Tom Monahan of Lakemont.

   She was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Bernard Monahan.

   Patricia was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and the Altoona School of Nursing and was a retired registered nurse following 50 years of service.

    She was a very active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg, and enjoyed gardening and her two pet dogs, Buttons and Benji.

     Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday, July 22, 2019, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a vigil service will be held Monday evening.  A funeral mass will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg.  Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
