Patricia “Pat” M. Fleegle

     Patricia “Pat” M. Fleegle, 83, Henrietta, rural Martinsburg, passed away, Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020, at UPMC Bedford.

     She was born in Central City, daughter of the late Orville and Dorothy (Gindlesperger) Carver.  On September 5, 1959 she married Robert “Bob” E. Fleegle in Central City.

     Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years; a daughter, Sandra Waugaman (Richard) of Raleigh, NC; two sons: Robert H. (Lisa) Fleegle of Mercersburg and Douglas (Nancy) Fleegle of Palmyra; five grandchildren: Richard Waugaman III, Andrew Waugaman, Ashley Waugaman, Jennifer Stephens and Jeffrey Stephens; great-granddaughter, Kahlan Stephens; a sister, Joy Calligaro of Mechanicsburg; two brothers: Garry (Mary) Carver of York and Larry Carver of Fort Worth, TX; and a brother-in-law, Maynard Stufft of Carlise.

     She was preceded in death by a daughter Lori Ann Fleegle; and a sister, Carol Stufft.

     Pat was a graduate of Shade Township High School and the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medical Technology, where she earned a Registered Medical Technologist Degree with an ASCP certification.

     She worked as a medical technologist at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown, Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring and also at Roche Biomedical Lab in Altoona.

     Pat was a member of Christ Church, Roaring Spring, the Martinsburg Red Hat Society and American Society of Medical Technologists.  She loved spending time with her family, spending winters in Florida and also enjoyed reading and doing crafts.

     Due to COVID-19 restrictions all services will be private.  Interment will be held at Daley Cemetery, Shade Twp., Somerset County and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
