     Mary L. Beatty, 69, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Wednesday evening, April 29, 2020, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona.

     She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Glenn S. and Lula I. (Clark) Diehl.  On July 11, 1970, she married Roy M. Beatty in Frankstown Township, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2015.

     Surviving are two sons: Roy M. Beatty Jr. of Dudley and Robert A. Beatty of Altoona; three daughters: Tresa A. Sprow of Ocean City, MD, Claira L. (Jim) Litzinger and Robin A. (Jim) Moyer both of Altoona; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: William and Ronald Diehl; and two sisters: Thelma Still, Sarah Havenstine.

     She was preceded in death by an infant son, Johny; and four brothers: George, John, Alfred and Clarence Eugene Diehl; and a sister Elda Fay Wurth.

     Mary was a member of Mines United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg and worked for many years at Price’s Poultry in rural Hollidaysburg.  She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, bowling, vacationing and going to amusement parks.

     There will be no services at this time however a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

     Memorial contributions in memory of Mary can be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
