     Marie C. Frye, 76, of Potetown, rural Roaring Spring, passed away late Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, following a lengthy illness.

     She was born in Clappertown, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Elmer George and Blanche (Dixon) Helsley.

     Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Terry Lee Frye; children: Neal D. Becker (Cathy Amick) of rural Roaring Spring, Mitchell B. (Cara) Becker of East Freedom, Joel O. (Jenny) Becker of Manassas, VA, Terry L. Jr. Frye (Jenna) of Snake Spring and Holly Fink (Barry) of Blue Knob; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Helsley of Hollidaysburg.

     Marie was preceded in death by a son, Paul A. Becker; three sisters: Viola Mae Strock, Betty Smith and Donna Piper; and an infant brother, Elmer Guy Helsley.

     She was a 1961 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg.  Marie was employed as a sorter for North American Communications, Duncansville and had previously worked at Quality Manufacturing, Martinsburg and Black and Decker Tool Company, Mechanicsburg. 

     Marie loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays and also enjoyed camping.

     Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Friday, November 8, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. 

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Marie can be given to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
