Lois M. "Dolly" Wolf

     Lois M. "Dolly" Wolf, 86, of Maple Hollow, Duncansville, went to be with her Lord and Savior late Friday evening at UPMC Altoona. 

     She was born in Cross Keys, Duncansville, daughter of the late Lester A. Sr. and Lois (Ernest) Stiffler. On March 3, 1954, at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, she married Thomas D. Wolf.

     Dolly will be sadly missed by her husband of 66 years and children: Thomas A. (Brenda) Wolf and Deborah L. (Steve) Pheasant, all of Duncansville; grandchildren: Heidi (Dan) Dodge, Joshua (Lisa) Wolf, Danielle (Zach) Clapper, Michelle (Nick) Snyder and Tiffany (Brandon) McGarvey; and great-grandchildren: Savannah, Aliyah, Annie, Alexander, Kylie, Caleb, Kayden, Amelia and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

     Dolly was a lifelong member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, where she served as a former Sunday school teacher and deaconess. She was also a 1952 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

     Dolly enjoyed shopping, working around her home, but most of all she loved and served the Lord to the end of her life.

     Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren with the Pastor Bradley R. Runkle officiating. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
