Linda L. Ritchey

     Linda Lou Ritchey, 73, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, went home to be with the Lord Friday evening, April 12, 2024, at the Village.

     She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late James H. and Evelyn (Wyles) Ritchey.

     Surviving are a sister, Louann S. Walters (Allen) of Walkersville, MD; a niece, Angela Semenick (Aaron) of New Market, MD; a nephew, Christopher Walters (Yoojin) of Walkersville, MD; a great-nephew, William Semenick; two great-nieces: Alyssa Semenick and Emma Walters; and many beloved friends.

     Linda was a 1968 graduate of Central High School and went on to receive her LPN certification from Centre County Vocational Technical School in 1969. Following graduation, she held numerous positions at Nason Hospital until her retirement in 2014 with over 40 years of service.

     She was a member of the Curryville Church of the Brethren. Linda was also a member of the Martinsburg Sunrise Rotary Club, where she was honored as a two-time recipient of the Paul Harris Award.

     She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed cross-stitch, crocheting, writing cards, and reading books.

     Friends will be received from 11 am until the 12-noon funeral service, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at The Village Green, 403 Village Way, Martinsburg, PA 16662, Pastor Linda Banaszak officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Linda can be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at the Village of Morrisons Cove, 429 S. Market St. Martinsburg, PA, 16662.
