Linda F. Greenleaf

Linda Fae Greenleaf, 71 of Friedens, Somerset County went home to meet her Lord and Savior, Friday morning, July 31, 2020, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Irvin K. and Marjorie Carolyn (Guyer) Honsaker. On October 11, 1969, she married David N. Greenleaf at the Martinsburg Mennonite Church.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years; a son, Brian D. (Kimberly) Greenleaf of Canonsburg; two daughters: Suzanne R. (Craig) Shoff of Somerset and Michelle L. (Justin) Yachere of Friedens; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Braedon and Willie Greenleaf, Ian and Isaac Shoff and Lucas and Emma Yachere; and a sister, Marlene Kay Keith of York.
She was preceded in death by a brother, I. Ronald Honsaker.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Central High School and a member of Rockwood Alliance Church, where she was very active in the children’s ministries.
She was employed as a home health aide for United Cerebral Palsy of Johnstown, with over 20 years of service. Linda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening, reading and taking walks.
A private funeral service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Timothy Dietrich officiating, with the interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
A public celebration of life service for Linda will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Rockwood Alliance Church.
