Jason Andrew Claar

Jason Andrew Claar, 42, of rural Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Monday morning, September 21, 2020 in Paris, KY, following injuries sustained in a tractor-trailer accident.
He was born in Roaring Spring son of Richard L. and Charlotte A. (Chamberlain) Claar. Jason was formerly married to Karen A. (Lint) Claar of Duncansville.
Surviving are his parents of rural Williamsburg; a grandmother, Laura E. Claar of East Freedom; a daughter, Laura A. Claar at home; a sister, Greta L. Albright (William) of rural Williamsburg; a niece, Brittany N. Albright; and many aunts, uncles and cousins that he dearly loved.
Jason was a 1997 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. He drove tractor-trailer for Birk Transfer Inc., Johnstown and had previously worked for Smith Transport in Roaring Spring and at Wolf Furniture Company’s distribution center.
He loved spending time with his family, especially with his daughter, Laura. Their favorite time together was going to demolition derbies, haunted houses and fishing.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Stephen Durr officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit.
