     Janet A. Miller, 72, of rural Martinsburg, passed away early Saturday morning, September 12, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

     She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Helen Alice Miller.

     Surviving are a cousin, Joyce M. (Miller) Shildt of Indiana; and many friends who loved her dearly.

     Janet was a 1966 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School and also attended Shippensburg University.   She was a longtime active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg and also, a member of the Blair County Business and Professional Women's Club.

    She retired as a bank teller from Altoona First Savings Bank, Martinsburg and was previously employed at Roaring Spring Blank Book Company.  Janet also worked as a Creative Memories consultant for many years.

     Janet enjoyed music, reading and doing crafts, she also loved animals, especially her cats.

     Friends will be received from 9:30-11am, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 11am, Pastor Traci Marriott Bowman officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
