James R. “Jimbob” Becker

James R. “Jimbob” Becker, 35, of rural Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly late Sunday afternoon, August 15, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Nancy J. (Saylor) Becker and the late James F. Becker, who preceded him in death on April 7, 2019.
Surviving are his mother; a sister: Ashley J. Becker of Williamsburg; Aunts and Uncles: Norma and Wayne Grove, Sam and Lynnea Becker both of Williamsburg, Robin and Dennis Vandevander of Tyrone, Mary and Mark Carter of Marshville, N.C., Sandi and David Hogge, Pam and Wayne Steinfieldt both of West Palm Beach, Fl., and Joseph Becker of Germany, and many cousins.
Jimbob was a 2004 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a 2009 graduate of St. Francis University where he played for the Red Flash football team and received his Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice.
He was employed as a dairy associate for Walmart, Altoona for the past 15 years and previously worked as a dairy hand for Penn England LLC, rural Williamsburg.
Jimmy was a member of the former Henry’s Yellow Springs Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, playing baseball, basketball, and especially football. Jimbob also enjoyed logging, woodworking, farming, and fishing.
Friends will be received 5-8 pm, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a celebration of life service will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 20, 2021 at the funeral home, Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jimbob can be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
