Gail L. Glunt

Gail L. Glunt, 70, formerly of Hollidaysburg, entered the kingdom of heaven for eternal rest and peace early Friday morning.
Gail was born the daughter of Wilford Ray and Bernice Irene (Benson) Glunt at Foot-of-Ten, Duncansville, in a small house built by her father.
She is survived by her son, Robert, and granddaughter, Marlo Juil, both of Bedford; brother, Maurice "Mo" Glunt of John's Island, SC; sister and friend, Linda Kanoff (husband Michael), of Harrisburg; two nieces: Julie Rosenblatt (husband, Jay) and their children: Bailey, Ben and Jack, and Kristen Shmonov (husband, Alex) and their children: Zac and Jake.
Gail worked as a waitress, sewing machine operator and a care giver for the elderly.
She was an avid reader, gardener, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was of the Methodist faith and donated to her local animal shelter and library.
Gail was a fan of the New York Mets, Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A celebration of Gail's life will be held from 10-11 am, Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Legion Park, Hollidaysburg, with a service to be held at 11:00 am, followed by refreshments.
