Fred L. Fouse Jr.

March 25, 1948     December 16, 2021

     Fred L. Fouse Jr., 73, of James Creek, Huntingdon County, passed away Thursday evening, December 16, 2021 at Penn Highlands Healthcare, Dubois.

     He was born in Entriken, son of the late Fred L. Sr. and Dorothy M. (Lohr) Fouse.  On February 2, 1969 he married Jolene K. Bush at the Martinsburg Memorial Church of the Brethren.

     Surviving are his beloved wife of 52 years; two sons: Bruce A. Fouse of James Creek and Brian W. Fouse (Wendy) of Entriken; three grandchildren: Mindy Nicholas, Andy Fouse and Ariell Fouse; three sisters: Ethel Grace Houp of Chambersburg, Carrie Irene Decker (Ross) of Roaring Spring and Sharon Elaine Defibaugh (James) of James Creek; and a brother, Clarence Dean “Butch” Fouse of James Creek.

     He was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey F. Fouse.

     Fred was a 1966 graduate of Huntingdon High School, where he participated in the FFA and 4H Club.   

     He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Russellville and a longtime member of the Huntingdon Holstein Association.  Fred was a lifelong dairy farmer, who enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting.

     A private memorial service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
