Emmamarie C. Patterson

September 30, 1944 – December 21, 2021

            Emmamarie C. Patterson, 77, Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday evening, December 21, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.

            She was born in Brooklyn, NY., daughter of the late Charles F. and Helen (Mumich) Kellerman Sr. On August 21, 1965, she married Donald L. Patterson Sr. in Williamsburg and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1999 after 34 years of marriage.

            Surviving are two daughters: Bonnie K. Umbower (David) and Tina M. Brantner (Scott Bush); a son: Donald L. Patterson Jr. (Dottie); four granddaughters: Melinda, Caitlyn, Dawn (Stephen), and Emmalee; a grandson: Dakota; four-great grandchildren: Mylie, Aiden, Reese, and Kaiden; She is also survived by her special friends: Shirley, Patty, and Deanna; and her two spoiled dogs: Benji and Rockie.

            She was preceded in death by her infant son in 1972; great granddaughter, Natalia “Natty Bug” LaPenna; grandson, Mandrake Carmona Jr.; and brother, Charles F. Kellerman Jr.

            Emmamarie was a graduate of High School in Brooklyn and went on to be a wonderful homemaker where she filled her home with love and care.

            She was a previous member of Williamsburg Church of God.

Emmamarie loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

            A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
