Edward P. “Eddie” Rock

January 21, 1959 – March 1, 2023

     Edward P. “Eddie” Rock, 64, of Martinsburg, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2023 at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Elizabeth A. (Rice) Rock and the late Daniel Merle Rock Sr.

     Surviving are his loving mother, Elizabeth of Martinsburg; a sister, Cathy S. Cox (Richard); and a brother, Daniel M. Rock Jr. (Roberta) both of Claysburg; also surviving are; 5 nieces and nephews; 17 great-nieces and nephews; and 2 great-great-nieces.

     He was a 1977 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg.  Eddie worked as a laborer at the Cove Shoe Factory in Martinsburg, with 42 years of service.

     Eddie was a member of Smithfield Church, rural Martinsburg. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed word search puzzles, watching television and going out to dinner.

     Friends will be received from 11 am until 12:30 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg where a funeral service will follow at 12:30, Pastor James Neatrour officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.  

    Memorial contributions in memory of Eddie may be given to the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company, 205-S. Market St. Martinsburg, PA. 16662.
