Dorothy T. Koontz

Dorothy T. Koontz, 103, Williamsburg, passed away Monday morning, April 10, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Mt. Etna, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late James H. and Bess S. (Isenberg) Koontz.
Surviving are four nieces; eight nephews; and extended family, Tim & Linda Price of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James A. Koontz; and a sister, Atna E. Carper.
Dorothy was a 1936 graduate of Williamsburg High School, and retired in 2010 from the Williamsburg School District with 68 years of service as the school board secretary and business manager.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, rural Martinsburg, and the former Trinity United Church of Christ in Williamsburg.
Friends will be received 10 until 11am, Thursday, April 13, 2023 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 11am, Pastor Betty Royer officiating. Interment will be held at Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy may be given to the Williamsburg Public Library, 511 W. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
