Deidre E. “Dee” (Reininger) Miller

            Deidre E. “Dee” (Reininger) Miller, 62, of Martinsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, September 19, 2023, at UPMC Altoona surrounded by her loving family.

            She was born in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Merle D. and Roxy E. (Stimely) Reininger.

            Surviving are her life partner of 26 years, Bill Myers; three children: Jason M. Reininger, of South Carolina, Jessica E. Swindell (Chris), and Jennifer K. Welsh (Bill), both of Martinsburg; eight grandchildren: Colin, Blake, Braydon, Kaylin, Caleb, Kyle, Kendell, and Paxton; three siblings: Daniel Reininger, Mike Reininger (Sharon), and Barb Burket (John); and numerous extended family members and friends.

            Dee was a 1979 graduate of Central High School. She was employed at Cove Shoe Company, Martinsburg and at D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43, Martinsburg.

            Dee was a member of the D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43 Auxiliary, Martinsburg. She loved spending time with her family and relaxing by the pool with her grandchildren. Dee enjoyed playing shuffleboard and cornhole, going to the beach, and swimming. She also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

            Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, September 25, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc, Martinsburg. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

            Memorial contributions in memory of Dee may be given to D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43 Auxiliary, 115 S. Nicodemus Street, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
