David Henry Snyder

David Henry Snyder, 70, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away late Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Norbert M. “Junior” and Geraldine (Shadle) Snyder.
Surviving are two daughters: Michelle Snyder of Altoona and Amy Kephart of Las Vegas, NV; a son, David M. Snyder of State College; 10 grandchildren; two sisters: Karen Beck in Maryland and Barbara Cartwright of Williamsburg; and three brothers: Norbert N., Kent A. and Kelly D. Snyder all of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis A. Snyder.
Dave was a 1969 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1969 until 1972 with the 1098th Transportation Company, attaining the rank of Specialist 5th Class.
He retired as a commercial electrician from the I.B.E.W. and worked for almost 40 years as an electrician. Dave was fascinated by Big-Foot stories and the daily quest to find and consume “The World’s Most Delicious Hotdog”. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
At the request the deceased there will be no services. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
