April 30, 1947     March 5, 2021

     Connie Mae Bush, 73, of Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, March 5, 2021 at Homewood at Martinsburg.

     She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Leonard R. and Lillian I. (Eicher) Bush. 

     Connie was twice married and surviving are a son, Thomas R. Artzberger of Martinsburg; a brother, Donald L. Bush (Joyce) of rural Martinsburg; four nieces: Jennifer Truxton, Gretchen Twigg, Denise Hileman and Jamie Ann Guzzo; three nephews: Stephen Hunter, Greg Bush and Todd Bush; and many great nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary G. “Bird” Bush; and a sister, Bonnie L. Hunter.

     Connie was a 1965 graduate of Central High School and while growing up in the cove attended Martinsburg Memorial Church of the Brethren.  She was employed for over 20 years as a nurse’s aide working at both the Morrisons Cove Home and Homewood at Martinsburg. 

     She loved spending time with her family and going to lunch with friends.  Connie also enjoyed reading, especially her bible and watching Penguins Hockey, Pirates Baseball and Penn State Football.

     At the request of the deceased there will be no public services.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.

     Memorial contributions in memory of Connie can be given to your favorite local church or charity.
