Charles T. Robison

Charles T. “Charlie” Robison, 78, Roaring Spring, formerly of Martinsburg, went home to be with his Lord early Tuesday morning, July 7, 2020, at Encompass Health and Rehabilitation, Altoona.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Theodore J. and Frances E. (Bechtel) Robison. On September 22, 1962, he married Agnes L. Thompson in Altoona.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 57 years; a daughter, Kim M. (Terry) Fetter of Darragh; three sons: David L. (Cheryl) of Brookdale, OH, Phillip P. (Laurie) of Pittsburgh, and Scott A. (Kristi) of Rootstown, OH; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Donna J. Rhodes and Erma M. Tears; and a brother, G. Wayne Robison all of rural Martinsburg.
Charles was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Frankee Grace Snyder; and a brother, Donald E. Robison.
He was a 1959 graduate of Morrisons Cove High School, and a US Army veteran serving from 1961 until 1964 attaining the rank of specialist 5th class. Charles retired as a journeyman lineman from I.B.E.W., Local #126, with 40 years of service.
Charles was of the Baptist faith, and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes and horseback riding.
Friends will be received from 6 – 8 pm, Friday, July 10, 2020, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, and from 10- 11am, Saturday, July 11, 2020, where a funeral service with full military honors will follow at 11am, Pastor Earl Herr officiating. Private interment will follow at Bedford County Memorial Park.
