Betty C. Kifer

Betty C. Kifer, 79, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, March 19, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late August S. “Augie” and Mary R. (Briggs) Bilka. On December 2, 1961 she married Roy E. “Sonny” Kifer in Williamsburg. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2018.
Surviving are three sons: Roy S. (Tina) Kifer of Sunbury, Thomas S. (Judy) Kifer of Altoona and Robert W. Kifer of rural Williamsburg; nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Jessica, Janelle, Serena, Joshua, Layton, Camellia, Nathaniel and Noah; and 16 great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Tessa, Emily, Jordyn, Juliet, Noah, Gavin, Kaelyn, McKenzie, Aeriahna, Elijah, Brianna, Hayley, Ava, Kamden and Zayden.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa A. Kifer.
Betty was a 1959 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a member of Williamsburg Vol. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a faithful member of Williamsburg Full Gospel Tabernacle, where she played piano for church services and taught Sunday school. Betty and her husband, Roy also served the Lord for 10 years, doing ministry work for the Blair County Prison.
She enjoyed delivering meals on wheels with her husband, playing bingo and camping. Betty greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11am until noon, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Williamsburg Full Gospel Tabernacle, where a funeral service will follow at noon, Pastor Thomas S. Kifer officiating. A fellowship meal will be held at the church following the funeral service. A private interment will be held at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
Memorial contributions in memory of Betty can be given to Williamsburg Full Gospel Tabernacle, 107 E. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
