Anna E. Klepser

Anna Elizabeth Klepser, 82, of Martinsburg, passed away, Friday morning, September 3, 2021 at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late, Maurice Chamberlain and Dorothy Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Chamberlain-Brower. On December 15, 1960 she married John E. “Jack” Klepser at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Satterfield (David) of Rolla, MO; daughter-in-law, Donna I. Litzenberger of Imler; five grandchildren: Dustin T. Lewis, Lynn D. Lewis, Lydia R. Litzinberger, Karla D. Younker and Jennifer D. “Munch” Bussard; eight great grandchildren: Cole Wilson, Jacob Lewis, Ryder Lewis, Isabella Lewis, Abbigale Ritchey, Austin Ritchey, Ella Bussard and Colton Bussand; and two sisters: Nancy Ranker and Beverly Garman.
She was preceded in death by a son, John L. Klepser; a grandson, Matthew A. Lewis; and two brothers: Charles C. Brower and James W. Brower.
Anna was a 1957 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a faithful, active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg, having served on the Fellowship Committee, Social Ministry, and as Financial Secretary.
She was a member of Shady Trail Riding Club, Woodbury. Anna was a life-member of the D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43 Axilliary, Martinsburg, where she served as past president. She also formerly served as president for the District 22 VFW Auxiliary.
Anna was primarily a homemaker, who loved spending time with her family, and also enjoyed camping, riding horseback, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and collecting and selling Longaberger baskets.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg, Pastor Traci Marriott officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Spring Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg.
