     Ruth E. Creps, 86, resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away Saturday evening the home.

     She was born in rural Martinsburg, daughter of the late William E. and Annie M. (Teeter) Creps.

      Surviving are her longtime companion and best friend for over 50 years, Doreen Fyock of Roaring Spring; a sister, Joyce Ott of Loysburg; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Chester, Charles “Bud”, Robert and W. Donald; and 3 sisters: Naomi Beach, Frances “Toot” Russell and Betty Freeman.

     Ruth was a lifetime member of Diehl’s Crossroads Church of the Brethren.  She was employed in the cafeteria for many years at the Benson School and   Morrison Cove High School both in Martinsburg.

     She loved playing country western music on her guitar and harmonica and also enjoyed painting.  Ruth was a very creative person with a great of sense of humor.

     At Ruth’s request there will be no public services.  Private interment will be held at Diehl’s Crossroads Cemetery, rural Martinsburg.
