Robert F. “Reb” Williams

     Bobby went home to be with the Lord on Thursday afternoon at his home in Martinsburg.

     He was born and raised in Blanchard, LA, son of the late Jack and Kathryn (Hicks) Williams.

     Following high school, Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 8 years during the Cuban Missile Crisis and The Vietnam War.  After his service he moved to Pennsylvania, which became his home.

     Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Sault (Mark) of Newry; two sons: John “Vince” of Tyrone and Dan (Cherri) of Juniata; a brother, Tommy Williams and a sister, Carolyn Gore both of Shreveport, Louisiana; four grandchildren: Sarah Sault, Brody and Austin Williams and Shaye Davis; and two great-grandchildren.

     He is also survived by his wife, Dotty, who will love him the rest of her life; a step-son, Mark McCready of Hollidaysburg; two step-daughters: Samantha and Stephanie McCready of Martinsburg; and 9 step-grandchildren.

     Bobby was preceded in death by a step-son, Freddie McCready Jr., who resided in Hollidaysburg.

     He retired from Fonda, Williamsburg as an industrial mechanic with 35 years of service.  Reb also worked side jobs as a handyman, builder, farmer, writer and he also owned a business, raising rabbits.  He became well read and knowledgeable on everything he had interest in.

     Bobby was known best for his love of motorcycles, and he truly loved to ride, ride and ride.  He was an active member of ABATE of PA and was also a representative with NCOM (National Coalition of Motorcyclists). 

     He enjoyed camping, bike rallies, horses, boats and fishing. As he grew older he enjoyed staying in the comfort of his home and watching FOX and WWE with his wife and dogs.  Bobby was a private man who spoke his mind.

     At Bobby’s request there will be no viewing or memorial service.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

     His last request was for his friends to remember him by raising a beer in his memory.
