Patrick “Pat” M. Risbon

     Patrick “Pat” M. Risbon, 52, rural Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday morning at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown, following a lengthy battle with injuries sustained from a fall.

     He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Thomas A. and Lillian L. (Stiffler) Risbon.

     Surviving are a sister, Judith A. Risbon with whom he resided; two brothers: Larry E. (Terry) and Joseph C. all of Williamsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary C. Henderson; and two brothers: John and Thomas.

     Pat was a 1984 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a longtime member of Cove Forge United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg, where he served faithfully and in various capacities.

     He loved lending a hand to family and friends, and also enjoyed making quilts for the homeless and shopping.

     Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Cove Forge United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg.  A funeral will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the church, Pastor Heather A. Wurst officiating.  Private interment will be held at Yellow Springs Lutheran Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

    The family prefers contributions in memory of Pat be given to Cove Forge United Methodist Church, 2788 Covedale Rd., Williamsburg, PA  16693.
