Mary Gladys Eastep

Mary Gladys Eastep, 80, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday afternoon, August 27, 2019 at Homewood at Martinsburg.
She was born in Catharine Twp, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Chalmer Ellsworth and Edna Mae (McConahy) McCall. On December 21, 1956, she married William D. Eastep in rural Roaring Spring.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 62 years; four sons: Kenny D. (Debbie), Daniel W. (Polly Smith), Kevin D., and Brian S. Eastep, all of Williamsburg; five grandsons: Curtis, Andrew, Daniel, Joshua, and Jason Eastep; two great-grandsons: Isaac and Owen; four brothers: J. Eddie, Fred D., Robert D., all of rural Williamsburg, Kenneth L. McCall; and a sister, Lois W. Robley both of Martinsburg.
She is preceded in death by three brothers: Chalmer Eugene, H. Elwood, and Wayne McCall.
Gladys was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg. She was primarily a homemaker, who loved spending time with her family, playing the piano and canning fruits and vegetables.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 30, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Interment will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Gladys can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery Association, c/o Donald Eastep, 4852 Clover Creek Road, Williamsburg, PA 16693.
