Lillie Ann Brennan

March 21, 1937       April 12, 2019

     Lillie Ann Brennan, 82, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday afternoon, April 12, 2019 at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg following a lengthy illness.

     She was born in Saxton, daughter of the late Glen and Dorothy S. (Dolt) Worthing.  On July 16, 1954 she married Gerald D. Brennan in Winchester, VA and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2001.

    Surviving are a daughter, Deborah (Ron) Long of Pittsburgh; a son, Willis D. (Lucinda) Brennan; three grandsons: D.R. Long II (Courtney), Brent Brennan (Brianne) and Kevin Brennan (Ashley); eight great-grandchildren and two brothers: Glen Worthing of Hollidaysburg and Thomas Worthing of Middletown.

     Lillie Ann was a 1955 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School and was employed for many years as a nurse’s aide at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.

     She was member of Daughters of the Nile, Hollidaysburg Chapter #471 Order of the Eastern Star and also a longtime member of the former Roaring Spring Chapter #121 O.E.S.

     Lillie Ann was of the Brethren faith and loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed working at the Altoona Curve baseball games and watching her grand and great-grandchildren race go-carts.

     Friends will be received from 10am until the noon funeral service, Monday, April 15, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Mark “Cappy” Lingenfelter officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fockler Cemetery, Saxton.

     Memorial contributions in memory of Lillie Ann can be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
