Jennifer K. Traxler

Jennifer K. Traxler, 74, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday morning, February 3, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late D.R. “Dick” and Dorothy (Hauser) Orner. On December 22, 1993, she married John R. Traxler in Williamsburg.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 25 years; two sons: Theodore (Dorothy) Luciano of Claysburg and David Luciano of Altoona; a step-daughter, Victoria (Bruce) Chamberlain of Williamsburg; two step-sons: John (Joanne) Traxler of Indiana and Travis (Susie) Traxler in Washington; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jo Ann (Harold) Collins of Savannah, GA.
She was preceded in death by a brother, D.R. “Chub” Orner.
Jennifer was a 1962 graduate of Altoona High School and a 1965 graduate of West Penn Nursing College, Pittsburgh. She was employed and retired as a registered nurse from Mercy/Bon Secours Hospital with over 40 years of service.
She was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran serving in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. Jennifer loved spending time with her family and her dog, Abbey. She also enjoyed running beagles and playing her bass guitar.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public services.
Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
