Heather Dianne (Hileman) Stewart

Heather D. (Hileman) Stewart, 44, rural Williamsburg, went home to be with The Lord, Wednesday evening, February 6, 2019, at Magee-Women’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Phillip E. Hileman of rural Williamsburg and Louisa “Dolly” (Kinney) Hileman of Hollidaysburg. On March 5, 2005, she married Phillip D. Stewart at Fairview Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 13 years; a daughter, Brooke C. and a son, Logan W., both at home; a brother, Adam P. (Amy) Hileman; a sister, Christine L. (Jerry) Palmer both of rural Williamsburg; nieces and nephews: Jack, Drew, and Ayla Hileman, Lambert and Megan Palmer and Dillon Lower; life-long friend/sister, Jamie Irvin, who never left her side; father and mother-in-law, William and Diane Stewart; a sister-in-law, Christine Lower; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and faithful companions, Sparky, Snoopy and Merida.
Heather was a 1993 graduate of Williamsburg High School, and also attended Penn State University, State College. After Penn State she worked for the Atherton Hotel in State College and then at Mead Westvaco, Williamsburg. After the birth of their first child, Heather became a stay at home mom who also assisted her husband with his garage, Stewart’s Precision Auto, rural Williamsburg.
She was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren, Williamsburg, where she served as a deacon, church board member, worship leader and a Sunday school teacher. Her church was a very important part of her life that she truly loved and cherished.
Heather was a loving mother whose spirit, faith and compassion touched many lives. She loved her family deeply and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 pm celebration of life service, Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Fairview Church of the Brethren, rural Williamsburg, Brother Thomas Hanks and Pastor Eric Fether officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Heather can be given to help her children, (Brooke and Logan Stewart) C/O Morrisons Cove 1st Federal Credit Union, 7533 Woodbury Pike, Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
