     Grace L. Hicks, 92, resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of Williamsburg went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday morning at the home.

     She was born in rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Mark Cornelius and Emma Retta (Noland) Lykens.  On June 9, 1951 she married Virgil E. Hicks in Williamsburg.  He preceded her in death on August 17, 1991.

     Surviving are a son, Marvin E. Hicks (Patty) of rural Williamsburg; a daughter, Renae R. (Charles) Bingham of Williamsburg; 5 grandchildren: Gracie (Kim) Swindell, Goldie (Jason) Simpson, Jennifer Hoffman, Nathan (Kelli) Hicks and Julian Hicks; and 7 great-grandchildren.

     She was the last of her immediate family, being preceded in death by 3 sisters: Mae Elizabeth Lykens, Ruth Wheland and Dora Lykens; and 7 brothers: Elvin, Ralph, Reverend David, Thomas, Cloyd, Carl and Reverend Ray.

     Grace attended Altoona Restoration Church of God.  She was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.  Grace also loved reading her bible and her life revolved around her faith and church.

     Friends will be received from 1:30pm until the 3pm, funeral service, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Rev. Kim Swindell and Rev. Steve Brumbaugh officiating.  Private interment will be held at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

     The family prefers memorial contributions in memory of Grace be given to Altoona Restoration Church of God, 911 N. Third St., Altoona, PA  16601.
