Glenn F. Kagarise

Glenn F. Kagarise, 90, of Williamsburg, passed into Heaven, Friday afternoon, December 27, 2019 at Homewood at Martinsburg.
He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Norris Arthur and Thessa Edgell (Norris) Kagarise. On November 9, 1953 he married Betty J. McConahy in Saxton.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years; three daughters: Debra S. (Dave) Miller of Winston-Salem, NC, Tammy S. (Mike) Biddle and Billie Jo (Dave) Greaser; and three sons: Glenn F. II (Kathy), Rowdy C. (Gaydawn) and Robby J. (Julia) all of Williamsburg; 16 grandchildren: Tuesday Briggs, Brent and Harmonie Miller, Elizabeth Isenberg, Christopher, Olivia, Dakota and Michael Biddle, Curtis and Jordan Greaser, Angela Detwiler, Travis, Justin, Brent, Cheyenne and Hannah Kagarise; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Glenn was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Jane DelGeorge and Deanna L. Resheke; and two brothers: William and Jack Kagarise.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War where he served as a medic. Glenn received his G.E.D. while serving in the Army, completed an electronics program through the Boeing Company and later earned his Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the International Bible College.
Glenn was employed as an electronic technician for Boeing Company while living in Florida. He later worked as a clerk and accountant for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring with 30 years of service. He also owned and operated Kagarise Siding Company.
He and his wife Betty co-founded: The Glenn F. Kagarise Evangelistic Association, Living Water Family Worship Center, Truth and Freedom Ministries, and Living Water Christian Academy. Glenn also served as chaplain for the Blair County Prison and Moshannon Valley Correctional Center and hosted a radio program, Ye Must Be Born Again.
He loved spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, bowling and woodworking.
Friends will be received from 11 am until 1pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 1pm, officiated by Glenn’s three sons. Interment with military honors will be held at Shellytown-Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
