Gerald R. Replogle, 75, of Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday morning, December 8, 2018 at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

He was born in Martinsburg, son of the late A. Ross and S. Leda (Kensinger) Replogle.  On June 15, 1963 he married Barbara A. Leonard in Williamsburg and she preceded him in death on May 28, 2016.

Surviving are two sons: Dean G. of Columbus, GA and Daryl R. (Kim) of Saxton; six grandchildren: Justin, Tara, Daryl, Meghan, Kourtney and Trey; and seven great-grandchildren.

Gerald was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Trisha Lynette Replogle; a sister, Sarah Billeter; and a brother, Edward L. Replogle.

He was a 1961 graduate of Central High School and a longtime member of Martinsburg Church of God.

Gerald retired as an over the road truck driver from Air Ground Freight Trucking and during his career worked for many different local trucking companies.  He also owned and operated a dairy farm in rural Martinsburg for 20 years.

He loved spending time with his family, especially with his wife, Barbara.  Most people that knew Gerald, heard this saying when they asked him, how he was doing, “Mean and Nasty as Usual”.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Martinsburg Church of God, Pastor Nathan Starr officiating.
