     Elenore L. McCord, West Bloomfield, MI, passed away Monday morning, December 2, 2019 at McLaren Oakland Hospital, Pontiac, MI.

     She was born in Fort Belvoir, VA, daughter of the late Dale E. and Lula Jean (Lower) Lockard Sr.  On May 3, 1985 she married William M. McCord Jr. in San Francisco, CA.

     Surviving are her beloved husband of 34 years; two sons: William C. McCord and Scott L. McCord; two grandchildren: Bibiana and William McCord; two step-grandchildren: Angelo and Mary Bella Ancick; and a brother, Dale “Dan” Lockard Jr.

     Elenore attended both Elizabethtown College and Lebanon Valley College and she later earned an associate degree in Business Management from City College of San Francisco.

     She was a store manager for The Elements, Ankeny, Iowa, Renovation Home in Des Moines, Iowa, Curves Fitness in Commerce, MI and also a policy manager for the California Casualty Group, San Mateo, CA.

     Elenore was a member of Des Moines Art Center Society.  She enjoyed playing golf, decorating homes and gardens and also loved camping and reading.

     A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, PA, Pastor Traci Marriott Bowman officiating.  A celebration of Elenore’s life will be held in Michigan at a later date.

     Memorial contributions in memory of Elenore can be given to the Michigan Humane Society.
