Daniel L. Stultz

Daniel L. Stultz, 79, Williamsburg, passed away early Thursday morning, September 12, 2019, at Maybrook Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
He was born in rural Williamsburg, son of the late Ellis Blair and Ruth Alta (Noble) Stultz. On July 22, 1961, he married Phyllis F. Focht at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2014.
Surviving are two nephews: Donald E. (Kristen) Waite of Copper Hill, VA, and G. Blair (Brenda) Stultz of Honolulu, HI; a niece, Beverly A. (Charles) Dunn of Williamsburg; and many other nieces, nephews and family that he dearly loved.
Dan was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine S. Waite; and a brother, E. Galen Stultz.
He was a 1958 graduate of Williamsburg High School, where he played clarinet in the marching band. Dan was a member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church, where he served on church council and was a former Sunday school teacher. He retired from Pratt-Whitney, Hartford, CT, with over 30 years of service. After returning to Williamsburg, he worked for Warnaco, Duncansville, where he retired after 5 years.
Dan loved spending time with his family and the many pet dogs that he and Phyllis cared for over the years. He also enjoyed playing the accordion, traveling, dining out, and watching reality TV shows.
A celebration of life service followed by a fellowship meal will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, Pastors Heather Wurst and Daniel Jordan officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
