Clayton G. Yeager, 61, Williamsburg, died early Sunday morning at his residence.

He was born in Sunbury, son of William M. and Patricia C. (Lear) Yeager. He married Kathy J. Hileman.

Surviving is his wife of 34 years, Kathy; his mother, Patricia; two children: Kara E. Brenneman (Heath) of Alexandria and Mitchell C. (Chelsey) of Williamsburg; a twin sister, Gay Gorsuch (Bill) of Williamsburg; a brother-in-law, Bud Hetrick of Williamsburg; an uncle, Robert Lear (Jan) of Armagh; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William; an infant son, William Eugene; and a sister, Diana Hetrick.

Along with his mother, Clayton owned and operated Yeager's Carpet, Williamsburg, for 33 years. He retired in March 2014.

Clayton was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, Williamsburg American Legion and Williamsburg Lions Club.

Clayton was an avid hunter. He enjoyed fishing and golf and spending time with his family and dogs.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, with Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Clover Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, or Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
