Carol Ruth Kern, 82, Williamsburg, passed away Friday evening at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Hancock, NY, daughter of the late Carl and Hilda (Leonard) Wagner. On February 14, 1958 she married Robert H. Kern in Gaines, Tioga County and he preceded her in death on October 22, 1991.

Surviving are two sons: Joe R. Kern of Box Elder, South Dakota and Bruce A. Kern of Williamsburg; two grandsons: Patrick J. Kern (wife, Kari) and Kendall R. Kern; and a great-grandson, Finn A. Kern.

For many years, Carol helped her husband run their dairy farm in West Valley, NY. She loved spending time with her family and had a great sense of humor. Carol also enjoyed going to flea markets, walking her pet Rottweilers on Rails to Trails in Williamsburg and baking her delicious pumpkin cookies for family and friends.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public services. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
