     Boyd H. Frontz Sr., 75, rural Williamsburg, passed away Sunday evening at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

     He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Norman C. and A. Blanche (Price) Frontz.  On June 2, 1964, he married Judy A. North in Altoona.

     Surviving are his wife of 53 years; 3 sons: Boyd H. Jr. and Michael J. (wife, Heather) both of Altoona, and Robert P. of Williamsburg; a daughter, Deborah A. Frontz of rural Williamsburg; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda (husband, Ed) McCaulley of Bellwood.

     He was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

     Boyd attended Tyrone High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1964-1972, attaining the rank of Specialist 5th Class.  He retired in 2001 from Norfolk Southern Juniata Shop as a machinist with a total of 14 years of service.

     He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching his great-granddaughter, and working on cars and trucks.

     Friends will be received from 4-7 pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.  A funeral service with military honors will be held at 11 am, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the funeral home, Pastor Joseph D. Weber officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
