Anna Rose (Tomori) Roub

Anna Rose (Tomori) Roub, 86, resident of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Martinsburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday morning, October 2, 2018 at the home. She was born at home in South River, NJ, daughter of the late John and Mary (Koscar) Tomori. Anna Rose was married to the late Carl “Cub” Roub, who preceded her in death on October 14, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters: Annaliese R. Dell (husband, Randy) of Williamsburg and Barbara J. Long of Martinsburg; and son, Kenneth L. Roub (wife, Pamela) of Imler; five grandchildren: Nathaniel, Roman and Christopher Dell, Chelsea Knisely and Candace Long; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Helen Mazurowski and Margo Chikas both of Cranberry, NJ and Eleanor Lis of South River, NJ.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: John “Skelly”, Stephen, Frank, and Peter Tomori; and three sisters: infant Mary, Elizabeth “Blair” Drozd, and Mary Karaniewski.
Anna Rose was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Roaring Spring and was very proud of her full Hungarian heritage. She loved sewing, making lap quilts and also creating beautiful free-hand embroideries.
Family and friends will be received from 6pm until the 7pm memorial service, Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Roaring Spring, Father Leo Lynch officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Anna Rose may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
