December 21, 1952 ~ April 19, 2024

     E. Holly Cruse, 71, a resident of Pennknoll Village, Everett, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday morning, April 19, 2024 at UPMC Altoona.

     She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Robert Glen and Margaret (Campbell) Smith.

     Surviving are two daughters: Stacey D. Smith of New Paris and Sherry A. Ross (David) of Williamsburg; five grandchildren: Alexa Smith, Connor Smith, Aliyah Ross, Jeremiah Ross and Tanner Ross; five sisters: Joy Montgomery, Sue Miller, Melanie Baum, Penny Smith and Amy Kurtz; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by three sisters: Kay Shoenfelt, Charlene Hassig and Shirley Scalesi.

     Holly was a 1970 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and a member of Albright Church of the Brethren in Roaring Spring.

     She retired in 2019 as a Certified Nurse Assistant, where she worked at Skills of Central Pennsylvania for over 30 years.

     Holly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and spending time in the outdoors.  She also enjoyed hiking, cooking, swimming and watching local dirt track races.

     A private funeral service will be held at Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg, with Pastor Joshua Kirksey officiating.  Interment will follow at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

     Contributions in memory of Holly can be given to Skills of Central PA, Inc., 5016 6th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
