     Lois M. Miller, 85, resident of Homewood at Martinsburg formerly of Williamsburg went to her eternal rest Thursday evening at the home.

     She was born in Morrisdale, daughter of the late Percy and Clara (Bumbarger) Rothrock.  On September 23, 1950 she married Donald D. Miller at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church.  He preceded her in death on September 6, 2010.

     Surviving are three daughters: Sherlyn L. Rhule and Shae Ann Marvich both of Waynesboro and Susan M. Delgado of Sumter, SC; a son, Jon D. of rural Hollidaysburg; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.

     Lois was a 1949 graduate of Morrisdale High School.   She retired from Leidy’s Greenhouse, rural Williamsburg with 35years of service and had previously worked at Sylvania, Altoona.

     She was a member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church and the Williamsburg Women’s Civic Club.

     Lois loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and also enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, puzzles and taking care of her pets.

     Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Monday, November 6, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Homewood at Martinsburg, Bice Memorial Chapel, Pastor Jerry McCuller Jr. officiating.  Private interment will be held at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg. 

     Memorial contributions in memory of Lois may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
