Jone L. McConahy, 72, rural Williamsburg, passed away early Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Charles F. and Ruth P. (Lee) Ross. On October 17, 1964 she married R. Ronald McConahy in Winchester, VA.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 53 years; two sons: Ross L. McConahy of Fredericksburg, Scott A. McConahy; and two daughters: Shauna E. (T.J.) Bookhammer and Amber J. McConahy all of Williamsburg; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters: Inez M. Imler of Williamsburg and Connie L. Corle-Stiffler of James Creek; a brother, Ronnie L. Ross; and a sister-in-law, Joleen L. Ross both of Williamsburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: infant Charles and Larry Lee.
Jone was a 1963 graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended Living Waters Family Worship Center, Williamsburg.
She loved reading her bible, solving crossword and Sudoku puzzles and also enjoyed cooking and baking, which inspired her to author a cookbook.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services and a private interment will be held at Shellytown-Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
