     Glenn R. Hoover, 92, formerly of rural Martinsburg and Williamsport passed away early Sunday morning at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

     He was born in New Enterprise, son of the late Blaine K. and Susan Grace (Frederick) Hoover.  Glenn was married three times; first to Geraldine Rhodes, who preceded him in death on April 7, 2010, then to Gladys L. Zellers, who passed away on August 7, 1995, and to Norma Jean Crestani , who resides in Bellefonte.

     Surviving are 3 daughters: Diane Hughes (William) of Woodbury, Betty Bechtel (Darl) of rural Williamsburg and Beverly Snyder (Frank) of rural Martinsburg; 2 sons: Daniel of Williamsport and Richard (Phyllis) of Addison, NY; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.

     He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Hoover; a sister, Mary Clapper; and a daughter-in-law, Virginia (Snyder) Hoover.

     Glenn was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of Smithfield Church of the Brethren, rural Martinsburg, where he served as a deacon.  He also served as a school board member for the Spring Cove School District.

     He was a longtime dairy farmer in the cove and following his retirement from the farm, Glenn worked in Williamsport assisting his son Daniel, with his construction business.

    Glenn loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed camping.

     Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the funeral home, Pastor Jeffrey A. Fackler officiating.  Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

     The family prefers memorial contributions be given to The Village at Morrisons Cove, 429 S. Market St., Martinsburg, PA 16662.
