Maxine: Scott told me about Fred, I'm so, so sorry. I always loved him, he was a hoot, wasn't he!! I remember us growing up, then along comes Fred and Kenny for me. I couldn't believe how long you were married. Scott said he was sick, he's at peace now. You take care of yourself and family. Just remember how much I love you and him. I live in Florida, so Williamsburg is no longer the town I remember, the good times. Scott thinks the world of you and Fred. God bless you.

I'll always remember Fred -- funny, kind, full of the dickens. He did book reports on books he'd never read and made us want to read them! A sad loss for the class of '59.

We are so shocked and saddened to learn of Fred's passing. We have so many wonderful memories of times we spent together, laughing at baseball and football games and sharing watermelon... Fred had an exuberance for life; he was just the nicest and most generous guy. We are honored to have spent time with him (and you).
