Charles T. “Ted” Price

Charles T. “Ted” Price, 71, rural Roaring Spring, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.
He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Earl T. and Emma (Strayer) Price. On September 29, 1973 he married Frances “Fran” A. Thompson in Port Matilda.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 44 years; two sons: Brenton T. Price of rural Roaring Spring and Bradley D. Price of Altoona; a daughter, Dana K. Price of Falling Waters, WV; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Heidi S. Flick of Hollidaysburg.
Ted was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1965-68 attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He was employed for over 20 years as the office manager for Ben L. May Excavating and had previously worked for Blattenberger Electrical, Martinsburg.
Ted loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed working around his home, woodworking, gardening, listening to all types of music and very often would sing and whistle these tunes.
Friends will be received from 11am until the 1pm funeral service with military honors, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Mr. Larry Pate officiating. Private interment will be held at Port Matilda Cemetery.
